Who We Are:

Kelvin, formerly Radiator Labs, is a New York-based startup focused on decarbonizing legacy buildings by improving heating and cooling efficiency. Our award-winning solution, which combines software, hardware, and data science, helps building owners reduce energy costs and carbon emissions while avoiding regulatory fines. Validated by NYSERDA for saving 25% on heating costs, Kelvin’s technology is eligible for utility rebates and incentives. We are also developing a Hybrid Electrification platform that will enable buildings to electrify up to 80% of their heating needs at a fraction of traditional costs.

About the Account Executive Position:

Kelvin is looking for an ambitious Account Executive to help expand our customer base by establishing and growing relationships with multifamily property portfolios, condo associations, and co-op boards. You’ll be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing deals—while providing exceptional service to new and existing clients. This role is critical to driving revenue and scaling our business as we help the real estate industry embrace decarbonization and energy efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Full-Cycle Sales Management: Own the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals with multifamily property owners, operators, and property managers.
  • Pipeline Development: Personally source, develop, and manage a pipeline of deals to hit your quarterly sales targets.
  • Lead Conversion: Engage and follow up on leads generated by the Business Development Representatives (BDRs), working to convert them into long-term customers.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, serving as a trusted advisor on energy efficiency, decarbonization, and Kelvin’s solutions.
  • On-Site Visits & Proposals: Visit customer properties, present tailored solutions, and prepare sales proposals that address both financial and environmental benefits.
  • Conference Participation: Represent Kelvin at real estate technology and industry conferences to connect with prospective clients and expand market presence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to refine messaging, improve product features, and ensure alignment with customer feedback.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system to ensure a robust pipeline and efficient sales process.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in energy, PropTech, or building compliance-related fields.
  • Strong ability to negotiate, close deals, and build long-term customer relationships.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meet or exceed sales targets, and are motivated by performance-based incentives.
  • You can identify and address customer needs, clearly demonstrating how Kelvin’s solutions provide value.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools, sales analytics, and prospecting software to drive efficiency.
  • A team player who thrives in a startup environment and can work with minimal direction while contributing to a broader team effort.
