Summary

400 West 119th Street, which is known as Butler Hall, is a pre-war 1925 building that is apart of Columbia University’s apartment housing division. This 285-unit building is located in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. Along with Watt Hall, Butler Hall was one of the two student dormitories at Columbia University to install the Kelvin Cozy into their dorm rooms. The result was an 18% reduction in heating costs. This building is currently in compliance with Local Law 97.
